Alexandra has taught students from age 4 to 80 of every ability and skill level! She gives lessons focusing on technique, musicality, and music theory as well as each students’ individual interests and goals. Lessons with Alexandra include:
Manipulatives and games to engage even the youngest students
Student led learning - there’s always a lesson plan but the plan is flexible to what each student needs on any given day
Empathetic pedagogy - learning a new instrument is HARD and working on perseverance and ways to overcome frustration in a healthy way is important!
Introduction to a wide variety of styles and eras of music
Fun! Want to learn your favorite pop song? How to read a lead sheet? Or master a Christmas song in July? Alexandra has got you covered!
